Tribute to Brazilian Women in Music

“Nobresil Tribute Project to Brazilian Women in Music” is bringing a new wave of innovation in samba and bossa nova to the American audiences by paying tribute to great Brazilian female singers such as Elis Regina, Marisa Monte, Alcione, Astrud Gilberto, Beth Carvalho and many others. Nobresil offers original arrangements of famous songs featuring, upon the client’s request, beautiful samba dancers and the Samba Queen USA.   

Nobresil features Gold Record and Grammy Award certified singer Mari Nobre and a group of internationally known Brazilian musicians who love to involve the audience with exciting grooves and velvet vocals.

Directed by Brazilian bass player Leo Nobre (Sergio Mendes, Shakira, Stevie Wonder, Dori Caymmi), the band’s original albums were awarded with the American Songwriter Award, the Jazz Education Network Award (Jazz Ed Network magazine) as Best World Music Artist and Best World Music Album, the Independent Music Award, the Dean Martin Award among many others.

Both Mari and Leo Nobre are Latin Grammy certified artists, and received an  American Grammy certification in 2024 for their participation in Flora Purim’s Grammy nominated album
“If You Will”.
